Our First Christmas

We decided to decorate early for Christmas this year. We started the weekend before Thanksgiving, and I did not realize that I am marrying a Griswold. He wanted to do all sorts of stuff to my house, but we limited it for this year....we'll see what happens next year. Since we will be a married couple by the time Christmas rolls around and finally living in the same house, it was exciting to think about celebrating our first Christmas together. Here is the start of our decorations. Jarrett later added lights to our roof.

We also put up the Christmas tree and did a little decorating on the inside of the house. And we've gotten almost all of our Christmas presents bought, wrapped and under the tree. I can not wait for Christmas to be here. Mainly because I will finally be Mrs. English!

My First Post

We got engaged on October 19th and are getting married on December the 20th. I know that seems really fast, but I knew within months that I wanted to marry Jarrett.

This blog is basically a way for me to chronicle all that is going to happen with our new family. I'm excited....to say the least!!
