12 Month Photos

I still haven't completed Lawson's 12 month post, and today he turns 13 months.  I guess I'm a little behind.  I most likely will get it finished, and then post date it to show up on the day that it is supposed to.  I did have his pictures made at 12 months by Lindsay (M and L Photography), and here are a few of the best ones.

Easter 2011

We had a great Sunday of Church, food, Easter baskets and egg hunting!!  We started the day off at my parents church and enjoyed the message from Luke 5 of the paralytic whom Jesus heals.

23 Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise and walk?'  24 But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins"

The pastor emphasized the point that the most amazing miracle was not that the paralized man took up his mat and walked away, but that Jesus forgave him of his sins!

After church we headed over to my sister-in-laws, parent's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.  We over-indulged as always and then all of the kids had an Easter egg hunt.  Her family is HUGE so it was a really fun time to watch all of the kids.

Lawson, Abram and Asher matched perfectly!
Lawson had a big time walking all over the place.
He had fun with his Easter baskets and all the goodies that came in them.  One from us, JoJo, Nanny and Jeje and Papaw....can we say spoiled...or loved...or both!!!

Nolan's Birthday

April 23rd we celebrated Nolan Michael's 1st Birthday in Sugar Land.  We had a great time with Jarrett's family and enjoyed watching the boys together.  They are starting to interact more and more.  I didn't get any pictures of the actual "Pirate Party", but here is a picture of sweet Nolan with his Barbar (Jarrett's mom).

Lawson had so much fun the first day we were there, he fell right asleep during dinner.

It is a LONG trip to Sugar Land, but we always have a great time.  Lawson is a wonderful traveller, so that make it so much more enjoyable.  I secretly love all the time I get to just sit and actually talk to my husband on the car ride down.

First Easter Egg Hunt

Lawson went on his first Easter egg hunt this past weekend.  It is technically his 2nd Easter, but last year he was only a week old!  I will never forget that first holiday because I was still a scared to death, sleep deprived, fluffy new momma!!

He had a great time playing in the dirt and he even snuck in one of the tootsie rolls he got in the egg he found while we weren't looking....paper and all!

Here are a few pictures from the big Easter Egg Hunt at the Jordans....

We are looking forward to a weekend full of celebrating.  We are headed to Houston on good Friday for our nephews 1st birthday party.  Then we are headed to Burgess' (my sis-in-laws parents) house for an Easter celebration Sunday afternoon.  I can already taste the ham, mac and cheese, and desserts!!
